1. Shipping & Delivery
Rumi Perfumes & Gifts aims to process and dispatch all orders as quickly and efficiently as possible.
1.1 Dispatch Times
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
- Once dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and courier details (where applicable).
1.2 Delivery Services
- Delivery timeframes vary depending on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout.
- Estimated delivery times are provided by the courier and cannot be guaranteed.
- Standard UK delivery usually takes 2–5 working days from dispatch.
- Tracking information will be available if you selected a tracked service at checkout.
1.3 Delivery Responsibility
- If your chosen service requires a signature or personal collection, someone must be present at the delivery address to receive the parcel.
- If you are unable to be present, you must arrange a designated safe place or alternative delivery instructions directly with the courier.
- Rumi Perfumes & Gifts is not responsible for parcels left in an unsafe or unsecured location if the courier follows your delivery instructions.
1.4 Failed Deliveries
- If delivery fails due to an incorrect address, no one available to receive the parcel, or no safe place provided, the parcel may be returned to us.
- Customers are responsible for any return shipping fees or redelivery charges incurred.
- If you refuse delivery without a valid reason, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund, and original postage charges are non‑refundable.
1.5 Lost or Missing Parcels
If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please:
- Check the tracking information provided
- Contact the courier
- Check with neighbours or household members
- Contact us within 30 days of the dispatch date
If the parcel is confirmed lost, we will offer either a replacement or a full refund (including original postage costs).
1.6 Order Amendments & Cancellations
- You may amend or cancel your order before it has been dispatched.
- Once a shipping label has been created or your order is out for delivery, amendments are no longer possible.
2. Returns & Refunds
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Please review the return guidelines below.
2.1 Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds apply only to products returned in:
- Unused, unopened, and resalable condition
- Original packaging, including any accessories or tags
- Returned within 14 days of delivery
Items not eligible for return include:
- Opened perfumes or fragrance oils
- Personalised items
- Hygiene‑sensitive items where seals have been broken
- Perishable or custom‑made goods
- Items returned in used or damaged condition (unless faulty)
2.2 Refunds Related to Shipping
- Once a shipping label has been generated or the parcel is out for delivery, postage costs are non‑refundable.
- Refunds apply only to the product value unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
- Original postage costs will be refunded only if the item is confirmed faulty or sent in error.
2.3 Return Process

Once approved, we will provide return instructions and the return address.
- Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item was faulty or incorrect.
- We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
- Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during return shipping.
2.4 Damaged or Incorrect Items
- If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
- We may request photographic evidence to process your claim.
- Once verified, a replacement or refund will be issued within 7 days.
2.5 Refund Processing
- Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected within 2–3 working days.
- If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- You will receive an email confirmation once processed.
- Please allow 3–5 working days for the refund to appear in your account (depending on your bank).
2.6 Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return it for a refund and place a new order.
3. Additional Information
- Rumi Perfumes & Gifts is not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control.
- Please ensure all shipping details are accurate to avoid delays or misdelivery.
- We are not responsible for additional charges or delays resulting from incorrect delivery information.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds if fraudulent activity or misuse of our policies is suspected.
